Used Bikes Direct Named Title Sponsor of CMRA's Inaugural Moto-Texas Superbike Challenge at Circuit of the Americas
One of the nation's leading pre-owned sport bike dealers backs the first-ever amateur road race at the home of MotoGP and Formula 1 — fully live-streamed, July 4th weekend in Austin
DALLAS–FORT WORTH, TX — June 27, 2026 — Used Bikes Direct, one of the country's leading pre-owned sport bike dealers, today announced it will serve as Title Sponsor of the inaugural Moto-Texas Superbike Challenge, presented by the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA) at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas, over Fourth of July weekend.
Running July 3–5, 2026, the event marks the first-ever amateur-sanctioned motorcycle road race held at COTA — the same 3.426-mile circuit that hosts Formula 1's United States Grand Prix and MotoGP's Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas. Riders from across the country will compete for a share of a $25,000 purse across double-header sprint races, with every race streamed live — making it CMRA's most ambitious event to date.
"This is exactly the kind of event we want our name on," said Daniel Hyde, CEO of Used Bikes Direct. "How often does a club racing association put on 100% live-streamed racing, with a real prize purse, at arguably the best track in the country — on the Fourth of July? Come on, this is going to be awesome. We've built a great relationship with the new ownership at CMRA and RideSmart Motorcycle School (RS), and titling this event is our way of showing how much we believe in what they're building."
As Title Sponsor, Used Bikes Direct will receive premier brand placement across event signage, marketing, and the event's live-stream broadcast throughout the weekend, connecting the company directly with the riders, families, and enthusiasts who make up the heart of the American sport bike community.
For Used Bikes Direct, the sponsorship is also a statement of intent. "Backing the Moto-Texas Superbike Challenge is a definitive step forward in our commitment to the sport," Hyde added. "We're passionate about road racing, and our goal is to compete — at the club level, the national level, and ultimately on the global stage. This partnership is just the beginning."
"Bringing CMRA's biggest event yet to Circuit of the Americas is a milestone for amateur road racing, and partners like Used Bikes Direct make it possible," said Dave Johnson, Owner, CMRA. "Daniel and his team share our commitment to growing the sport and making it accessible, and we're proud to have them on board as Title Sponsor of this first-of-its-kind event."
